PROSPECT (34 miles to Crater Lake) –This is a must stop if you are going to Crater Lake via Highway 62 off I-5 or Hwy 97. This fully restored 10-room 1889 hotel is a Nationally Registered Historic Hotel. Teddy Roosevelt, Zane Grey and Jack London have all enjoyed its hospitality and you can too. Hearty, full breakfasts greet you each morning. There is also a 14-unit modern motel on the five acre property. It is an easy stroll to three waterfalls and the Rogue River.
